BD Exhaust Manifold Kit – Ford 3.5L EcoBoost (2011–2016)
The 2011–2016 Ford 3.5L EcoBoost engine has a known design flaw—only 8 of the 11 available exhaust stud locations are used by the OE manifold. This leads to warped manifolds, broken studs, and failed gaskets over time. BD’s upgraded exhaust manifold kit corrects this issue by utilizing all 11 stud locations, providing a factory-correct solution that improves both durability and exhaust flow.
Crafted from thicker-walled, high-silicon ductile iron, BD’s manifolds are built to resist thermal warping. Flow performance is significantly improved, offering an average 25.9% increase over OEM manifolds. Each kit includes 22 spacers and 22 class 8.8 studs to further increase long-term thermal reliability.
