Description
Plugable’s USB-C to HDMI Adapter (USBC-THDMI) allows you connect an HDMI display to your laptop, tablet, or desktop which supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode (Alt Mode) video output functionality. The adapter is equipped with an HDMI 1.4 port in order to support resolutions up to 4K 30Hz.
Performance
USB-C Alt Mode graphics adapters utilize a direct pipeline to the graphics processor in your system, and your connected monitor will function and perform as a natively attached display.
HDMI 1.4 supports 4K / UHD displays up to 3840×2160 @ 30Hz while being backward compatible with HDMI 1.3 to provide support for popular modes such as 1920×1080@60Hz (1080P), and 2560×1440@60Hz.
Compatible Systems
Plug and Play installation on any Windows, Mac, or Linux host which supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (Alt Mode) video output functionality.
Incompatible Systems
Most current phones and tablets with USB-C ports do not support Alt Mode video output.
