BD Turbo Thruster II – 1999.5–2003 7.3L Power Stroke
BD’s Turbo Thruster II turbo utilizes a custom-designed 360-degree thrust bearing and is mated to a heavy wall backplate to increase durability and reduce heat. Additionally, to improve centrifugal strength at high speed, BD uses a 66 mm Ballistic Billet compressor wheel. To prevent boost creep, BD’s exclusive Heavy Duty Waste Gate controls maximum boost pressure while the 0.84 A/R turbine housing reduces exhaust temperatures and smoke levels on acceleration without surging. This unit outperforms the stock turbocharger, improves fuel economy, and is a great fit for all off-road, street, and highway 7.3L Power Stroke applications. Plus, it is C.A.R.B. compliant!
