Description
Katech has designed a valve cover system for the GM Gen 5 engines. These covers, made out of cast aluminum, are not only functional, but a great way to add that special touch under the hood. The raised design of the cover facilitates the use of aftermarket valvetrain components such as larger springs and rocker arms. (They come in cast aluminum and are not painted)
These covers is that they can be personalized with a custom engraved badge by selecting the slotted option.

Non-slotted – Smooth finish no slot
Slotted – with a machined groove to accept the logo insert (sold separately)
An available Coil Relocation Kit is required to allow the coils to be mounted above the rocker cover. This new coil location puts the coils in such a position that the cover is totally visible.
