The Glasfloss Z-Line Series ZL is an extended-surface pleated-media filter designed to provide efficient and reliable filtration. It is usually recommended to change the filter every 2-3 months. Constructed from 100% synthetic fibers, the media is pleated in a tapered radial configuration to enhance airflow and dust-holding capacity. A heavy-duty, recycled expanded metal reinforcement is laminated to the air-exit side of the media using a thermo-setting adhesive to maintain the pleat structure. The expanded metal is galvanized to resist rust and corrosion, ensuring long-lasting durability. The pleated cartridge is securely bonded to the interior perimeter of the outer frame, which is made from a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board containing post-consumer materials. The frame face is internally laminated to the pleated cartridge apexes for added structural integrity. Rated with a MERV 10, these filters meet the ANSI/ASHRAE 52.2 Test Standard and comply with U.L. Standard 900. Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 180°F, they offer reliable performance in a wide range of HVAC systems.
