Stage 2 5.9 CR Cummins Performance Head
Our Stage 2 5.9 CR Cummins Performance Head is designed for the performance enthusiast. It includes everything in our Stage 1 Cummins Performance Head plus a D&J Stage 2 5.9 CR Billet Intake Manifold, thread-in soft plugs in the head, titanium valve spring retainers, and heavy-duty extra-large valve seats.

- Upgraded Valve Seats: Our heavy-duty extra-large valve seats address the issue of stock seats falling out, ensuring durability and reliability.
- Thread-In Soft Plugs: Prevents soft plugs under the valve cover from coming out and filling the crankcase with coolant.
- Billet Intake Manifold: Designed to keep the factory MAP sensor, air horn, and throttle position sensor. This manifold ensures more even air distribution, preventing hotspots and potential piston melting.
- Increased Airflow: Intake flow increased to 250 CFM, compared to the stock 165 CFM, providing enhanced performance.

- Complete Disassembly: The head is completely disassembled, and all soft plugs are removed.
- Cleaning and Blasting: Thorough cleaning and blasting to ensure a pristine surface.
- Crack Check: Performed to ensure structural integrity.
- New Components: Installation of all-new bronze guides and heavy-duty extra-large intake seats.
- 5-Axis CNC Porting: Performed for optimal airflow.
- Thread-In Soft Plugs: Installed under the valve cover for enhanced reliability.
- High-Performance Valve Job: Precision CNC valve job performed for enhanced performance.
- Resurfacing: The head is resurfaced to meet exact specifications.
- Thorough Cleaning: Comprehensive cleaning process to eliminate all debris.
- Expert Assembly: Assembled with all new valve seals, thread-in soft plugs, 115# springs, and titanium retainers.
