Featuring BD’s exclusive Variable Orifice Technology, these brakes provide up to 150 retarding horsepower across the entire RPM range. Unlike others that rely on perforated designs or extra parts, BD uses a solid, offset stainless steel butterfly, a spring-loaded cylinder, and precision pressure regulation to ensure smooth and reliable braking performance. Durable cast-iron housings and high-heat resistant materials like alumibronze bushings and piston ring seals guarantee longevity in harsh exhaust conditions. Most kits include an air compressor for newer pickup truck applications.

- Not for sale on licensed California vehicles
- AutoLoc or lower stall converter suggested for automatic transmissions
- Not compatible with early 1999 PowerStrokes (build date before 03/21/99)
